Starting Monday, November 10, I will be practicing in both Plano and Frisco.

Over the last several years my practice has experienced incredible growth, especially from people coming down to Plano from Frisco, Prosper, McKinney and Allen. In order to better accommodate the growth I thought it was necessary to open up a second location.

The new location not only gives me the opportunity to do counseling in those communities, but it also allows me to partner more frequently with a lot of the counselors, organizations and churches that I do work with in the North Texas area. And because I have an office with Yeager Office Suites in Frisco, I now also have access to their conference room space in McKinney where I plan to develop some leadership trainings for those active in the local community. But even with all the new changes, I still get to keep space in my current building in Plano so as not to disrupt those who currently work with me.

DETAILS

First, I will still have an office at the Willow Bend Wellness building in Plano, where my current office is. But I’m moving it across the hallway about 4 feet. My new office will be in suite #200 where Auxano Counseling has offices. I will have my own separate office and still operate my practice independently, but you probably won’t see my new signs on the door for a couple of weeks. So when you have an appointment, just come into Suite #200 instead of #204

Address: 6101 Chapel Hill Blvd, Suite #200, Plano, TX 75093. — 469-304-9022

Second, I will have a new office location in Frisco at the Yeager Office Suites on the northwest corner of Main and Teel. My office suite will be #121. It’s a beautiful building and space, and I’m excited to begin working with people at this new location.

Address: 2770 Main Street, Suite #121, Frisco, TX 75033. — 469-304-9022

Third, starting Monday, December 8, I will have a new assistant working with me. For the last 8 months I have been working with Karissa, a virtual assistant from EA Help. She has been great to work with, but due to the logistics of a growing practice and having two offices, I felt it necessary to bring on someone who lives locally and can work in person with me. I’m excited to bring on Travis who is a graduate student in counseling at SMU Plano. He will be working with me part-time while continuing his studies to become a therapist. Travis will handle the details of the practice like scheduling, phone calls, emails, payment, and any other questions you might have. And on occasion you may see him in person at one of my locations. He can be reached at the practice email as well as by phone at 469-304-9022 beginning December 10.

For those of you who have known me for a while, you have been witness to a lot of changes in my practice. I appreciate your flexibility and encouragement in the changes. Growth and change are a part of our lives and I’m thankful that you allow me to practice what I preach in counseling. I’m excited for this next year as more good changes are on the way:

  • I’m currently working on a couple of different marriage books that I hope to finish this coming year.
  • My men’s program is officially relaunching with a new site in January 2015, Life-Giving Men.
  • Working on launching a boy’s adolescent group.

I would love to hear from you about what topics are important to your own growth this coming year, as I look forward to writing more on my blog and sending out more regular monthly newsletters:

  • relationships/marriage?
  • parenting?
  • faith?
  • anxiety/depression?
  • self-care?
  • vocation?
  • goal setting/creating vision statement?
  • etc.

Please send me an email and let me know how I can best serve you in my writing, videos, workshops and teachings this year.

Many Thanks!!!

Rhett
