I understand this statement, and have seen this firsthand, it reminds me of Gary Hammel's talk at Leadership Summit this past year, where he said to "embrace the renegade in your company, and don't fire them." As a man past the middle of life's journey I can attest to the fact that at mid-life we usually lose our way and sense of direction. And as Dante so powerfully set forth, the way up is down. Before we can ascend to Paradise we first have to journey downward into the Inferno, and purgation. Just a remembrance that came to me as I read Rohr and your words.
