We even forgot the camera. Luckily I had brought the phone (with services turned off, I thought) so I was able to capture a few pics. What was funny though was that a friend tried to call me and my phone rang at 6:30 am while my wife and I sat by the fire enjoying coffee and a rich peaceful time with God. The sound was so shockingly foreign and disruptive that I almost threw the device in the lake. (note to self LEAVE PHONE, BRING CAMERA) As for my comment about the internet being my business: your comment reminded me that really people are my business. These devices are just tools. My passion is to connect and help others. Again your post is such a good reminder to not let the tools take the center stage. Cheers!
