When I first heard about twitter I thought it was ridiculous. Then I signed up for the heck of it probably a year or so later. I still didn't get it. It slowly grew on me.

It wasn't until I installed TweetDeck that it made a lot more sense. I use it as a portal to information. It's like getting ideas and suggestions from friends.

I think facebook status update helped me wrap my head around twitter better. As it stands right now I would say facebook evolved to be more like twitter but with a closed community.

Twitter has bridged the gap between the internet and real life. For some the line has been totally erased.

This thought keeps bubbling up as I talk people through the launch of Church on the Internet that we're working on.
