Congratulations of some fabulous goals. With little online time these days...it does take me a while to catch up with things.

Even after pruning, less-is-more-ing and distraction cutting, it looks like you have your hands full. Accepting limitations is humbling, but as you are prophetically insightful, incredibly prolific as well as being profoundly relational, I'm sure all this focusing will create space for more of who you are to do more of what you do.

Jason,

Awesome,

I'm going to check those books out. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. Yeah, less time on internet would be great.

Ben,

I will talk about software. I use it myself you know. I have that post on the backburner when I am doing a series on pornography and the church, etc.

Thanks for the kind words.

Why I appreciate Rhett. His practical transparency on how to live life daily.

Anyway, this is one of your strengths; to lay out personal, everyday issues that I think many more people struggle with in today's present-media society.

What do you feel about people using online software as filters on their internet? I hope you write more about that sometime.

Good job Rhett.

@jasondtaylor
Rhett, appreciate the candor. My wife has mentioned to me twice this week that I seem to be spending a bit too much time on the computer. Shame on me if I let my "connectedness" online lead to anything less with those I share face time with.

Have you read any of Lencioni's books? His latest, 3 Questions for any Frantic Family is good. It's much like his others, fable followed by strategy but it seems from your blog that you and your wife are employing some of his strategy. If you haven't read it, it's a quick 2 hour hit. Enjoy.
