Sorry but my comment has nothing to do with this post. You asked on Twitter if anyone knew a babysitter in the Dallas area and I sent you a message asking a few questions because I might can help you out since I'm of close proximity of Dallas. You didn't respond so now I don't know if you got it or not or if you found someone or not or maybe I shouldn't care but you seem to need help since you are new around here. If you need help, I'm pretty easy to find and I'm a Grammy for Pete's sake so I'm not a stalker or a weirdo. O.k. so maybe I'm a weirdo but I'm definitely not a stalker.

I loved seeing the interview, and I appreciate Don's approach to being a Christian who is politically active.

This is sort of off subject and I'm sure you've seen it already, Rhett, but Don has a newly launched blog and post number 1 is pretty funny.

Keep it up Rhett, I love your blog and check it as close to daily as I am able to.

He has a clear perspective on his political stance. To often Democratic Christians are a retort to conservative politics and conservative Christianity. He clearly points out that the Democratic Party has its own set of faults as does the Republican Party. As Christians I think we are called to act as mergers between the two in pointing out what is positive and productive from each party and introduce ideals that cross party lines. Donald does this with his emphasis on the importance of Fatherhood. We are quick as Christians to add accessories to the cross. Liberal Christian, Conservative Christian. One thing that resonated from his interview was that he was first and foremost, a Christian and that was all he needed to comprise his identity.
