Funny how the issues are so similar despite the difference in size. We swell to a whopping 15-20 in summer and drop to 10 or less during the school year, yet even that change makes teaching completely different.

I hereby permission thee to try something risky and risk the dreaded flop. Squeeze the liquid from the sponge of "conversation" and see what happens. Collegiates are ample victims for this sort of thing. Of course, they might not end up victims at all, but grateful that you showed them the trust it takes to try and the grace it takes to keep moving forward...

I have to teach a class next month and I'm wondering the same thing. Should I let questions sit unresolved? For how long? Should I let the group weave narrative answers?

Maybe I'll let it rip. Maybe I'll just tell others to and resort to lecture myself.

Peace.
